Georgia NAACP closes the 80th State Convention with a charge to Move Forward in Unity.

ATLANTA, GA - For three (3) days, the Georgia State Conference met virtually for the 80th State Convention of the Georgia NAACP. Over 180 branches of the Georgia State Conference met and recognized the 60 branches that are in full compliance with National and State requirements. At the State Convention, delegates and observers learned about the GOTV plan for 2022, the programs of health and housing equity, and leadership training for branches. Powerful speakers charged the NAACP to move forward in unity and lead into the new generation of activism. The Executive Committee of the Georgia NAACP truly thanks all of the delegates for a powerful State Convention and looks forward to the 81st State Convention in 2023.
