In Partnership with The Atlanta Hawks, the Georgia NAACP celebrated Black History Month with an "NAACP Night" at The Atlanta Hawks v. the New York Knicks. The Georgia NAACP looks forward to creating a robust Social Justice Partnership with all Georgia Sports Teams interested in Social Change.
"Athletes and Sports teams have long been on the frontlines of social change, from the Brooklyn Dodgers and Jackie Robinson to The Atlanta Braves and Hank Aaron. We hope to continue that legacy of activism as we move into the Social Justice Era," said President Gerald Griggs.
