As Women's History Month is underway, the Georgia NAACP takes this opportunity to honor and recognize the tireless efforts of countless women, particularly Black Women, who have fought valiantly for equality, justice, freedom, and opportunities in our State. We are steadfast in our commitment to advancing the rights and opportunities of women and girls in Georgia and across the nation. We are also mindful that our efforts are built upon the legacies of both well-known trailblazers and unsung heroines who have guided Georgia's history and will continue to shape its future.
The Georgia State Conference remains dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women and women of color. We will continue to celebrate their achievements throughout the year and especially during Women's History Month. We wish everyone a happy Women's History Month from the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP.
